El dúo musical is a Spanish decodable with the focus skill of words with simple hiatus (úa, úe, úo). El dúo musical is about Franco and Sol two kids who are nervous about performing at a contest. They have been practicing for an entire month. Each one of them has a favorite song to perform. When they finally take the stage, they are nervous and realize they have not decided what song they will begin the set with. Sol also realizes she does not have her guitar pick and panics. From the crowd, they hear encouraging words. They agree on what song to start the set with and it goes better than expected. At the end of their songs people applaud with great enthusiasm.
